Rocket Wild Rocket (Arugula), has thin serrated dark green leaves that have the distinctive hot peppery/spicy flavour making it a great tasty alternative to the usual Rocket. But still very easy to grow!

The young leaves can be picked in succession and are great for an accompaniment to salads.


An excellent variety that's so easy to grow and so full of flavour.

Rocket Wild Vegetable Seed Information

Seed Quantity: Approx 1125 seeds per pack.

Any, will even grow in part shade.
When to Sow
Indoors; October to March
Outdoors: April to September
How to Sow:
Indoors:Can be grown on a windowsill over winter
Outdoors: Direct sow in a prepared seed bed in drills 1cm deep, thin to 10cm between plants and 15cm between rows.
Care:
Just keep well-watered as Rocket can go to seed quickly. The flowers are edible too! Keep an eye out for flea beetle, as they can munch holes in the leaves.
Harvest: 25-30 days from sowing.
Sowings made in late summer will carry on cropping into winter if given protection by cloches.
